Do I need to run all 10 at once?

No, and you probably should not. The pack is sized to spread pods around a rig — tray sides, roof rack, awning side, work area — and switch them in groups. Ten 80W lights together is a serious ask of a 12V system, so fuse and switch each group separately.

Is a 60° flood beam any good for driving?

Not for seeing distance. A 60° flood throws light wide and close, which is what you want over a campsite, a work area or a boat deck. Point these at the ground around you and leave the job of lighting up the track ahead to a proper spot-beam driving light.

What actually kills lights like these?

Vibration and heat, not water. IP67 handles dust, rain and a washdown, which is why the alloy body and fins matter more than the rating on the box. Mount them to something solid rather than thin plastic trim, and retorque the bracket bolts after a long run of corrugations.
