Josh’s Smoked Southwest Texas Cherry Pork Chops Recipe
Ingredients
1 thick pork chops
2 tsp chicken seasoning
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp coarse black pepper
Suggested wood chips: Cherry
Preparation
- Set smoker temp to 135°C.
- Mix all dry ingredients well.
- Evenly coat all sides of pork chops.
- Place chops in smoker and smoke for 2-3 hrs or until internal temperature has reached 65°C.
- Serve with charro beans, habanero salsa and flour tortillas.
