Cooinbil Hut campground

Cooinbil Hut campground is located in the Long Plain precinct of Kosciuszko National Park, accessible via Long Plain Road off Snowy Mountains Highway. This free campground provides basic facilities including barbecues, tent sites and toilets, with activities such as horse riding, mountain biking, fishing and birdwatching available in the surrounding area. Access roads close during winter months from June to October long weekends. A $6 booking fee applies despite no camping fees. The site sits in the high plains country near the Murrumbidgee River with views across Long Plain, offering access to northern sections of Kosciuszko National Park.
