Aloomba Lavender

Aloomba Lavender offers a relaxing experience in Queensland's Granite Belt. The lavender harvest was successful, but the heat can make working tiring. Visitors, particularly campers and RV owners, are often wonderfully friendly and our location is gaining popularity. Planning is underway for the upcoming Granite Belt festival at the end of June and early July, and campsite bookings are recommended. Although our shop is closed in February, we remain available for camping and enjoy meeting the touring coach groups we often host.

About this campsite

Located on the Qld Granite Belt, Aloomba Lavender is more than a simple lavender farm. Besides the aromatic lavender fields, the place also boasts a B/B, gift shop, and a working cattle property. Topping it all, we extend a warm welcome to travelers with caravan & camping ground facilities - the perfect retreat amidst Nature. An enticing 7-acre building block awaits for those wishing to anchor in this serene spot. Despite the sweltering conditions, night times are a joy with the cool air breezing through. The lavender harvest has been bountiful - the aroma of uncut flowers meant for oil lingers in the warm air. Our grounds are increasingly becoming a choice destination for camping enthusiasts, with visitors appreciating the friendly and approachable nature of the area's residents. Planning is underway for the new festival on the Granite Belt set to occur on June 30th and extending to the 1st and 2nd July. It’s advisable to secure your camping spots well in advance given the high footfall we witnessed last year. Although our shop took a break in February, camping activities continued. This downtime allows us to focus on other aspects and to welcome special guests, like my cherished Aunt this year. We're also thrilled to accommodate the incoming coach groups greatly contributing to our patronage. As we await some much-needed rain, the spirit remains upbeat. Here's extending wishes for safe and joyful travel to all!
