About this campsite

Emu Creek Camping and Day Use Area offers a picturesque escape into nature within the boundaries of Benarkin State Forest. The campgrounds and day-use areas are equipped with modern facilities including toilets and cold showers. Dogs are welcomed in the day use area. It's an excellent destination for outdoor enthusiasts due to its proximity to Emu Creek and its natural surroundings, though note that larger vehicles should exercise caution due to narrow and winding final stretch of road.

It comprises 2 separate areas (Day Use and Camping) adjacent to Emu Creek. Modern toilet/ cold shower facilities are provided at both locations. Dogs are permitted at the Day Use area but not in the campground. The final 2km (past Clancy's Campground) is particularly narrow and winding; larger rigs need to exercise care.
