What can I actually fit in 20 litres?

A day's worth: jacket, lunch, water, camera and a small medical kit, with room over. What it will not take is overnight gear, because a sleeping bag alone eats most of it. Think day walks, markets and a run into town, rather than a track with a tent.

Does 290 g mean it will tear on me?
