Alongside the lagoon is a breathtaking 500m boardwalk, which gives visitors a water-level vantage point to observe over 150 species of birds, such as Brolgas. A trip to the Big Hill provides panoramic views of this expansive wetland while a detour to Little Bool Lagoon reveals a busy waterbird hub. The entire reserve hums with life, offering auditory experiences of croaking frogs and a plethora of insects.

Bool Lagoon Game Reserve, located in southern Australia, is recognized as one of the largest and most diverse freshwater systems in the region. How to Get There

Proceed to waypoint 18km south of Naracoorte on Riddock Highway. Turn west onto Bool Lagoon Road and continue for 6.3km. Turn right and follow road to game reserve.
