Treefrog Camp is a free bush camping area situated along Tamboritha Road in the Alpine National Park, approximately 150 kilometres east of Melbourne. The site occupies a narrow forested valley beside a river, offering level, grassed sites among peppermint, white sallee and mountain gum with an understorey of saplings and wattles. Tent camping is available on red gravel ground with reasonable shade. Wildlife including wrens, tree creepers and wallabies frequent the area. Dogs are permitted at this campsite, making it suitable for travellers with pets seeking remote bush camping in Victoria's high country.
