The location was once a single men's camp following World War I. This basic bush camping area provides pit toilets and welcomes caravans and tents, though it is not suitable for large rigs or motorhomes. Access is via dry-weather gravel roads only. A short walking track connects The Boys to nearby Kendalls Camping Area, while the surrounding state forest offers opportunities for bushwalking, fishing, mountain bike riding and birdwatching.
