Dangars Gorge Campground sits within Oxley Wild Rivers National Park in the New England region, offering seven marked sites suitable for tents, camper trailers and caravans. The remote campground provides basic toilet facilities and unpowered sites in a bush setting overlooking the Great Escarpment. Located approximately 8 kilometres from Armidale via Dangarsleigh Road, the area features walking tracks, wilderness areas and waterfalls including the nearby 120-metre Dangars Falls. Dogs are permitted at this campground. While there are no camping fees, a $6 booking fee applies through NSW National Parks. The unsealed access road requires suitable vehicles, and visitors should arrive well-prepared for remote camping conditions.
