Cooyar Showground is a spacious welcoming venue only 1.4 km from the charming small town of Cooyar. It offers both powered and unpowered sites, clean toilet and shower facilities including a disabled option. Pets can be accommodated at the discretion of the onsite caretaker making it a great choice for all family members. The location is ideal for camping trailers, caravans, and motorhomes with plenty of room for big rigs. In the hospitable town of Cooyar, you can participate in regular community events and make use of the general store, hotel, school, police station and post office.

Please report to the caretaker or call our phone and leave a message. The caretaker will return your call, if needed. Toilet facilities, hot showers, power and water are available. A disabled toilet and shower is also available. The area is suitable for camper trailers, caravans and motorhomes. Fifty-two powered sites are available throughout the grounds with water now available to the majority of sites. Pets are welcomed at the discretion of the caretaker. The society welcomes caravan clubs, motorhome groups and others wishing to visit the area.Large flat areas are available for big rigs. Cooyar is a small town located approximately 90km north of Toowoomba on the New England Highway. A close-knit community of approx 280, Cooyar residents regularly hold community based events. The town boasts a general store, family-friendly hotel, primary school, community hall, police station and post office.
