3-Year Manufacturer Warranty
Dometic provides a 3-year warranty on all its products, in line with Australian consumer laws. This warranty covers:
- Manufacturing defects
- Faults in materials or workmanship

What’s Not Covered by the Warranty
To ensure clarity, the Dometic warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear from regular use
- Damage from improper use or handling
- Cosmetic issues that don’t impact functionality
- Damage caused by extreme weather, accidents, or external factors
- Unauthorized modifications or repairs
- Products used commercially (unless specified otherwise)
- Second-hand, demo, ex-display, or refurbished items
- Issues arising from failure to follow care or maintenance instructions
- Perceived faults where the product meets Dometic’s performance standards

How to Make a Warranty Claim
If you suspect a manufacturing defect with your Dometic product, follow these steps:

Contact Us or Your Retailer: Reach out to Camping Australia at contact@campingaustralia.com.au (if purchased from us), the retailer where you bought the product, or your local Dometic branch (find details at dometic.com/dealer). Provide proof of purchase and a description of the issue.

Return for Inspection: Include your receipt and a note explaining the problem when sending the product back.

Assessment: Dometic will evaluate the product. If the issue is covered, they’ll repair or replace it at their discretion.

Consumer Rights
Australia Only:
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You’re entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You may also have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure isn’t a major one.
New Zealand Only:
This warranty is subject to the conditions and guarantees mandated by the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (NZ).
