About this campsite

Bulahdelah Lions Park & Boat Ramp is a peaceful, riverside retreat an easy walk from Bulahdelah town's amenities. Since improvements in 2013, the park has lush grass, a new gravel driveway for large vehicles, and extra room by the river and under the overhead bridge. There is a new, accessible toilet block just a quick 3-minute walk away. Ideal for overnight stays, visitors can appreciate scenic views and utilize the convenient boat ramp for water activities.

The Bulahdelah Lions Park & Boat Ramp, set across the river from Bulahdelah, offers a serene escape nestled amidst level, shady areas and a convenient boat ramp. While its tranquil setting provides a peaceful retreat, its proximity to the town makes it easy for visitors to access local shops. Post the 2013 highway bypass, the park has seen remarkable improvements, turning it into a fantastic free overnight rest zone. Efforts have been put into rehabilitating soggy areas and nurturing fresh grass cover. The new gravel driveway introduced recently aids easier off-road turns, particularly for large rigs heading south. The park also extends under the overhead bridge to the other side of the old highway, leading up to the river bank. Adding to the park's utility is a newly constructed accessible toilet block, located just a 3-minute walk away in town, across the bridge. This park is set to attract anyone looking for a combination of adventure on the water and relaxation amidst nature.
