About this campsite
Wangetti Beach Rest Area is a conveniently located stopover off the Captain Cook Highway, nestled between Oak Beach and Wangetti, and just slightly north of Ellis Beach. The rest area offers ample space for about 10 RVs under the cooling shade of trees. Despite the lack of water or toilet facilities, it makes up for it with its clean, flat gravel ground, garbage bins, and its close proximity to the beach, ideal for those on a journey to Port Douglas.
