Te Araroa Camp Ground

Te Araroa Camp Ground is located in the remote Te Araroa area of the Gisborne region, positioned on the East Cape coastline where New Zealand first greets the sunrise each day. The campground sits directly on the beach and serves as a base for coastal walks including tracks to Te Koau Lookout and along the East Cape shoreline. This is a paid campsite offering access to pristine beaches in one of the country's most isolated corners. Specific facilities, fees and booking details should be confirmed with the site operator before travelling to this far-flung eastern destination.
