Staircase Range Lookout is a prized locale recognized for its natural, sandstone escarpment's unique staircase shape. This location also features a track extending 250m into the north-west bush from the lookout. This track serves as a captivating trail for viewers and a perfect camping spot for overnight adventures. However, as the track ventures into wilderness, campers are advised to be utterly self-contained due to the lack of facilities. It's recommended to reconnoiter the path before bringing larger vehicles or camping equipment in. An orientation marker, the blue pin, provides GPS coordinates for guidance, ensuring a seamless experience blending exhilarating exploration with untouched nature's serene grandeur.
