Shark Bay Holiday Cottages sits on Knight Terrace at Denham, looking straight over the water in the Shark Bay World Heritage Area. One of the town's original holiday spots, it has been hosting travellers since the early 1960s. There are twelve self-contained cottages sleeping two to eight, and a small caravan area with ten sites — two powered and eight unpowered. The sites are for self-sufficient vehicles only: no tents, and rigs up to about eight metres. Dogs are welcome (maximum two per booking, $20 per pet per night, supervised). Two BBQ areas and a courtyard with an outdoor fireplace round out the camp, and there's boat parking with the town ramp and jetty close by. Monkey Mia's dolphins, Shell Beach, Eagle Bluff and the Hamelin Pool stromatolites are all within day-trip range.
