Mount Ragged

Mount Ragged Campground sits within Cape Arid National Park's northern mallee scrub and woodland country, offering unpowered sites for caravans and tents with toilet facilities. Managed by Parks and Wildlife, the campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis with no bookings required. The area supports diverse birdlife including purple-crowned lorikeets, yellow-plumed honeyeaters and mulga parrots, while the mountain itself features an unusual plant mix of orchids, ferns and coastal species like showy banksia. A sheltered picnic area and summit walking track provide additional recreation options.
