Kununurra Town Caravan Park is centrally located in Kununurra, the gateway to the East Kimberley in Western Australia. The park offers powered and unpowered sites for caravans, motorhomes, and tents, plus cabin accommodation. Kununurra sits on the doorstep of some of Australia most spectacular landscapes. Lake Argyle, the largest man-made lake in the Southern Hemisphere, is just an hour south. The Ord River cruise from Lake Argyle back to Kununurra is one of the top experiences in the Kimberley. El Questro Wilderness Park, Bungle Bungle Range in Purnululu National Park, and the Gibb River Road are all accessible from here. Park facilities include WiFi, powered sites, showers, laundry, dump point, camp kitchen with BBQ, and shaded picnic areas. The town centre with shops, restaurants, and the famous Kimberley Moon Experience is within walking distance. Best visited during the dry season (May to September) when temperatures are warm but comfortable and the waterfalls are flowing.
