Island wilderness camping with outstanding snorkelling and reef access

Hook Island is the second largest of the Whitsunday Islands and offers exceptional wilderness island camping at Stonehaven and Maureen's Cove. Fringing coral reef, sea turtles, reef fish and dolphins make snorkelling here world-class. The campground is basic but spectacular — bring all supplies including water. Access by ferry from Airlie Beach.
