13km north of Kalbarri turn off, 115km south of Billabong Roadhouse on the eastern side of North West Coastal Highway. The old highway bridge links the two sides, so from whichever direction you are approaching, look for the well-signed turn-off to the east side of the highway just as you descend towards the river. The new highway bridge crosses at a much higher level.
