Freshwater Lake Campground is a free camping area located on Victoria Valley Road near Dunkeld in the Grampians region. The site features a small, grassed picnic area shaded by mature manna gums and wattles, situated beside a large, shallow lake that may be dry at times. Also known as Walker Swamp, the reserve attracts waterbirds, rosellas, cockatoos and honeyeaters. Toilets are positioned approximately 150 metres north along Victoria Valley Road. The campground is dog-friendly and suited to budget travellers seeking a quiet bush camping experience in western Victoria.
