A pub and a store are walking distance from the recreation ground. On the last weekend in February, the Ground is host to a folk music gathering, during which there is a small nightly camping fee. The store sells groceries and fuel and is a post office. The pub serves meals every night and pizza is available on Saturdays from 5pm.
