About this campsite
First Settlers Park, a free rest spot in Benarkin, provides over-nighters with the comfort of hot showers. With the added convenience of power points available for caravans, it serves as an excellent stopover during long journeys. The 18-kilometer Benarkin to Linville Station section is ideal for those who enjoy nature outings, be it walking or bike riding. At just 4.7km away, the easy, almost flat walk to Blackbutt could be undertaken and accomplished in approximately 2 1/2 hours. Basic amenities are easily accessible as Benarkin houses a general store directly opposite to the rest area. Despite its small population of about 200 residents, the town thrives with its warm hospitality, making your stay at the First Settlers Park all the more enjoyable.
