The Benarkin Day Use Area is a serene rest space located in the picturesque Blackbutt Range. It offers visitors a chance to unwind in the midst of diverse flora including rainforests, hoop pine plantations, and eucalypt forests. Uniquely surrounded by blackbutt, tallowwood, white mahogany, gums and ironbarks, it opens up to the pleasing vistas of Emu Creek. Ideal for retreats away from the bustling city, it offers a refreshing connection with nature.

In the Blackbutt Range, a scenic forest drive leads through rainforest, hoop pine plantations and eucalypt forests containing blackbutt, tallowwood, white mahogany, gums and ironbarks to small flats beside the inviting waters of Emu Creek.

How to Get There

On the Southern side of the D'Aguilar Highway approx 4km East of Blackbutt at the signed turnoff to Clancy's and Emu Creek Camping Areas.
