About this rest area

Emu Park Boat Ramp provides an accessible and convenient spot to launch a boat for both amateur and professional boating activities. Situated on a beautiful beach, it offers parking for both cars and trailers and is well-fitted with accessible toilets. Though a 4x4 is recommended, a two-wheel drive with good tyres can also be used with care. With nearby islands and Mackerel fishing grounds, the location is perfect for various sea activities. However, caution is advised during strong north winds for safe retrieval of vessels.

A 4x4 is best for the job, but if care is taken and the car has good rubber, a two wheel drive may be suitable. There are Islands close to Emu Park. Mackerel grounds are a short cruise to Ritamada. Try to avoid this ramp if a north wind is strong, or two people will be required to retrieve the vessel.
