Drystone Walling Rest Area is a uniquely designed rest stop on the Flinders Highway, offering a gravel drive through space for convenient access. Besides acting as a serene break from your journey, the site also presents an informative and visually pleasing drystone wall artwork. Additional facilities include picnic tables, bins, and tracks for an exploratory stroll into the adjacent scrub. A great spot to rest, rejuvenate, and learn a bit about drystone walling.

Immediately inside the entrance on the left are some tracks that lead into the scrub, as an alternate to the limited area available in the rest area without blocking traffic. There is some drystone walling here with an information board about it. See photo.
