Dixon's Kingdom Hut Camping Area, now decommissioned, was located in Jaffa Vale within Walls of Jerusalem National Park. The site, set among pencil pines at over 1,200 metres elevation, centred on a historic hut known to bushwalkers traversing this World Heritage wilderness. In 1987, the hut was modified for the film 'The Tale of Ruby Rose' and later restored to original condition in 1998. Camping formerly offered tent sites and toilets in this spectacular alpine environment accessed via the Walls of Jerusalem Track. The area is managed as part of Tasmania's Central Plateau protected landscape.
