Dive Spear and Sport 1770

Dive Spear and Sport is based at Agnes Water and the Town of 1770, the southern gateway to the Great Barrier Reef and a quieter stretch of it than the Cairns end. They run fun dives and snorkel trips on the southern reef for people who just want a day in the water. They also teach, and the course list is broad: Open Water for beginners, Advanced and Deep for divers wanting more range, Rescue Diver, and Divemaster for anyone going professional. Freediver Level 1 and a basic spearfishing course are offered for those interested in breath-hold diving. Trips and courses run to a published schedule, and dive retreats are held through the year.
