About this campsite

Enjoy a picturesque and free overnight stop along the bank of the Campaspe River. This rest area offers ample space and relaxing shade with a paved circular turnaround for convenience. While trains on one side and the highway on the other provide a lively backdrop, the permission of campfires contributes to a rustic and authentic camping atmosphere. However, do be careful while exploring the surroundings as accessing the river might require trek through long grass, often home to snakes. A wonderful opportunity to experience nature, albeit with a touch of adventure!
