Located on the outskirts of town, Billabong Creek Rest Area is a popular local and tourist go-to spot, characterized by the uneven ground and rustic locale, adding charm without sacrificing comfort. Amenities such as picnic tables and wood BBQs enhance the visitor's outdoor experience. The rest area is easily accessible, featuring a circular turning space with a bitumen surface, accommodating all vehicle types with the exception of larger 5th wheelers.
