The site is managed by the Balmoral Recreation Area Charitable Trust and provides seasonal facilities: during summer months visitors have access to non-powered sites, toilets and running water, while winter camping (April to October) includes long-drop toilets with no running water available. The large reserve features mature pine trees and BBQ areas. Payment can be made to committee members on-site or at Caltex Garage in Culverden.
