Avon River Reserve is a serene natural haven, perfect for relaxation and outdoor activities. Situated along the beautiful Avon River, the reserve offers opportunities for peaceful boating and fishing. Despite the lack of direct shade, the reserve's surrounding bush provides natural cover during sunny days. Its gorgeous lighting conditions in the early morning and late afternoon make for extraordinary photogenic moments, captivating the heart of every nature-lover.

While there is no overhead tree shade, you can take advantage of the available space to enjoy some angled shade from the surrounding bush. There is plenty of opportunity for catching some great photos when the light is good, early in the morning and late in the afternoon.

How to Get There

Proceed to waypoint on the corner of Benwarden Road Springberg Lane. There is a little white church nearby. At waypoint turn south onto Springberg Lane, which is a dirt road but very good ride. Travel for about 4km to the river and park where you choose.
