About this campsite

Rowles Lagoon Conservation Park is a beautiful semi-permanent freshwater expanse, cherished by both avian and human visitors. The site includes plentiful campsites, accommodating both compact tents and larger motorhomes, making it the ideal setting for a stay amidst nature’s splendor. Known for its significant ornithological status, the lagoon is a busy stopover for 118 bird species, 41 of which are aquatic. The park shelter houses eight species protected under Australian law and is recognized on the country’s list of key wetlands. Onsite amenities at the park are designed for comfort and convenience.
