The lake is teeming with an abundance of aquatic species, including Yellow Belly, Silver Perch, Bass, Mary River Cod and Saratoga, creating a prime location for fishing enthusiasts. For those who own a boat, a ramp is conveniently located at the day-use area, a brief drive around the lake's perimeter. The campground has allocated a specific area for the accommodation of caravans and motorhomes. While the tracks can accommodate units up to around 22 feet, larger vehicles may struggle with tight corners and narrow passages. One of the distinct features of Lake Cressbrook Campground is its serenity, which is partly due to the absence of a 3G signal in the location.
