About this caravan park

Yalwal Campground, nestled in nature, offers campers two prime camping locations either side of the Danjera Dam. Facilities include toilets, with the dam side featuring flushing toilets and drinking water. Campers can indulge in a variety of recreational activities, including swimming, fishing, canoeing, bush walks and 4x4 tracks. While the grounds are not suitable for caravans, some smaller camper trailers may be accommodated. Please note that after rain, 4WD could be required to access the campgrounds.

Nestled in two unique locations by the Danjera Dam, the Yalwal Campground offers a one-of-a-kind camping experience. One spot is located just below the dam wall, while the other site is nicely positioned on the banks of the dam itself, each offering different perspectives of the area's natural beauty. Both camping sites are equipped with toilet facilities, with the one by the dam featuring flushable toilets and a dedicated drinking water tap - providing a touch of convenience in the midst of wilderness. Yalwal Campground is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts. With swimming, fishing, and canoeing in the dam, to bush walks and 4x4 tracks around the area, there's no shortage of adventurous activities. Not to mention, the unique ability to walk across the dam wall itself, the site truly provides an immersive experience. Although it is noted that caravans are not recommended, smaller pop-top campers have been seen around the site. Visitors should be aware that the access road can be narrow in sections, and may require a 4WD vehicle to reach the campsite, especially during or after rainfall. Surely, a stay at the Yalwal Campground is an adventure waiting to unfold!
