Overview Wood Camp Campground is located just off the Logan Canyon scenic Byway at an elevation of 5,600 feet. It is situated on the banks of the Logan River just 13 miles east of Logan, Utah. Recreation This campground provides access to biking, climbing, hiking, fishing, horse riding, and more in the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest. The Old Juniper Trailhead, located just outside the campground, leads to the Jardine Juniper, which at 1500 years old is thought to be the oldest tree in the Rocky Mountains. Facilities This campground offers 6 single campsites. Each site offers a picnic table, fire ring and plenty of shade. Vault restroom facilities are available. Natural Features The campground is a riverside location where the sounds of the river provide a pleasant background to an enjoyable, relaxing stay. Nearby Attractions Wood Camp Campground is located off Logan Canyon Scenic Byway. This byway provides spectacular scenery and access to great recreational areas. It begins at the mouth of the canyon on the east edge of Logan, Utah. Visitors to this picturesque northern Utah town will also find the fully operational turn-of-the-century Jensen Farm, as well as modern cheese factories, and the resident Utah Festival Opera Company. Logan Canyon is host to summer and winter recreationalists alike who find activities like hiking, camping, fishing, snowmobiling, skiing, and hunting. Deeply cut, nearly vertical limestone walls and rock formations laden with fossils greet travelers entering the canyon. The Logan River, popular for trout fishing, parallels the route, offering yet another reason to stop and spend some time. As autumn approaches, lush greens of this high mountain passage tipped with brilliant gold, red and yellow can be seen throughout the route. The route explores the spectacular Wasatch-Cache National Forest. A steady climb to the summit results in a sweeping view of the unique turquoise water of 20-mile-long Bear Lake. Charges & Cancellations Camping, Day-Use and Cabin Reservation Policies and Rules Reservation Cancellations & Changes Cancelling a Reservation: Customers may cancel their reservation prior to arrival both on-line and through the call center. A $10 service fee will be withheld from any refund for a cancellation. Depending on when you cancel in relation to your arrival day, it may be considered a late cancellation (see below). Changing an Existing Reservation: When changes are made prior to the cut-off window: If a customer wants to switch dates that are entirely outside of the original reservation dates, there is a $10 change fee. There is no change fee if a customer extends or shortens a reservation, as long as the change includes dates from the original reservation. If they choose to depart early, they may forfeit the recreation fee for the day of departure. There is no change fee if the customer wants to switch sites that are the same price with the same reservation dates in the same facility. If a reservation is made that includes dates beyond the maximum booking window, that reservation cannot be changed until 18 days have passed from the original booking date. Late Cancellations or Cancellations within the Cut-off Window Individual Campsites: A customer who cancels a reservation the day before or on the day of arrival will pay a $10.00 service fee AND forfeit the first night's use fee (not to exceed the total paid for the original reservation). Lodge Campground (UT)

Overview Lodge Campground, located in Logan Canyon, stretches out along the Right Hand Fork of the Logan River at an elevation of 5,600 feet. Recreation All Terrain Vehicle (ATV) and four-wheel drive enthusiasts will find hours of adventure as they explore the network of back-country roads that link this road to Cowley and Blacksmith Fork Canyons. A trailhead at the end of the road accesses the Great Western Trail (Canada to Mexico), as well as a network of other trails. Visitors also enjoy fishing for Rainbow and Cutthroat trout in the river. Natural Features The campground is well shaded and off the beaten path with the Right Hand Fork of the Logan River nearby. This is a pretty, rustic campground with sounds of the river heard throughout the area. Because of the heavy understory and middlestory, camping sites enjoy good privacy.
