A permit is necessary for camping, which can be obtained from the Yorke Peninsula Council.

While this is a free camp, a permit is still required from Yorke Peninsula Council This applies to most camping areas on Yorke Peninsula. There are no facilities here and you should bring your own firewood and drinking water. Pets are allowed on a lead.

How to Get There

Proceed to waypoint, 12km south of Port Victoria on Mount Rat Road. At waypoint turn west and continue for 4km to beach. Rough road conditions. Suitable for conventional vehicles, however some spots may require 4WD.
