Violet Valley Campground is a remote, Aboriginal-owned bush camp on the banks of the Bow River near Warmun on the Great Northern Highway, in Western Australia's east Kimberley. Developed and run by the Baulu-Wah (Violet Valley) community and opened in 2019, it sits about 36km from the entrance to World Heritage-listed Purnululu National Park, home of the Bungle Bungle Range. The campground offers 20 secluded sites in a natural bush setting amid wide open grasslands and abundant wildlife, with hot showers, flushing toilets and BBQ facilities. The 13km access road is suitable for four-wheel drives and off-road camper trailers and caravans only. It makes a quiet, well-positioned base for exploring Purnululu and the Kimberley's gorges, and camper/van storage is available for guests heading into the park.
