About this campsite

The under cover BBQ rotunda enjoys views over what was once a lake, but which has been transformed into a public recreation area. A 4.5km walking track encircles the old lake, with several rest stops along the way. There is a children's play facility and across the road is a takeaway food shop. The centre section of the road includes a self-service information centre and there is a car park here as well. There is ample parrallel parking on either side of the road with plenty of room for any size rig. This is a well thought out rest area which is also well looked after.
