About this campsite

Teddington Reservoir Campground is a serene oasis located in St Arnaud Range National Park, featuring a vast, open area engulfed by the stunning Ironbark forest capable of hosting a large number of campers. Made even more appealing by the presence of shade trees and fireplaces, this location is well-equipped with flushing toilets and provides access to untreated reservoir water. Although there aren't showers available, the sights, tranquility, and the friendly, invaluable interactions with the local ranger more than make up for it, promising an unforgettable camping experience. Please note, pets and firearms are not allowed on site.

Immerse yourself in nature at the Teddington Reservoir Campground, nestled within the serene St Arnaud Range National Park. Experience serenity like no other, free from mobile, internet, or TV reception, reconnecting with nature and each other. Enjoy camping under a canopy of Ironbark forest with a large open area shaded by lovely trees, big enough to accommodate at least 30 campers. Around 12 fireplaces are scattered throughout the site, with ample room for large camping setups. The campground provides modern comforts of flushing toilets, a tap mooted for fresh 'untreated' reservoir water and a 'shower room' (do note: no showers are in place yet). To maintain the tranquility and safety of the environment, pets and firearms are not permitted. Enjoy the warm and friendly approach of our on-site ranger, who is eager to ensure your stay is as informative and enjoyable as possible. This unique experience at Teddington Reservoir Campground comes at no cost. It's an adventure into the natural world, offering an escape from daily life and a chance to truly unwind.

How to Get There

Entry is from Stuart Mill on the Sunraysia Highway which is about halfway between Avoca and St Arnaud. Turn into Teddington Road in middle of Stuart Mill (ya carn't miss it ) – where the phone box is. The campground is about 7km along a good bitumen (narrow) road until you get to the National Park entrance, then less than 1km of excellent dirt road to campground.
