The Major Creek Reserve Camping Area is a serene site with a variety of bird species, perfect for enthusiasts. Visitors are advised to note the all-dirt feature of the area which might be unsuitable during wet periods. After undergoing repairs, the site's bridge is once again available for use. Upgrades like new long drop toilets were added in 2018, enhancing visitor's convenience, and a boat ramp is in progress to expand aquatic activities.
