Illaroo Camping Area, set along the picturesque beach near Minnie Water, boasts two expansive campsites, Illaroo North and Illaroo South, equipped with restroom facilities. The region is perfect for all types of camping enthusiasts with its 4x4 access and availability of 60 convenient sites suited to all size rigs. Campers need to bring their own firewood or they have the option to purchase from the National Park Contractor. Please note, the area could be busy during holiday periods and heavily wooded regions might attract mosquitos. However, water is conveniently available at an accessible point in the park. Your adventure, your rules - first come, first served!

Lake Arragan Camping Area offers a serene camping experience. With 65 campsites situated near to the beach, it is perfect for beach lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. Located in the southern area of Ben Boyd National Park, Bittangabee Campground is a hub of outdoor activities. This includes bushwalking, bird watching, swimming, and even snorkelling and diving. It also has a specific spot for kayaking and paddling on a pocket-sized beach. The area is replete with historical ruins of a storehouse, a visual reminder of its own history. A unique feature is its frequent natural displays by superb lyrebirds and a contemplative view of yachts resting in the bay.

The Mungo Brush Main Campground is a versatile spot perfect for both caravan and tent camping. Nestled within a park, the area is accompanied by a boat ramp and an array of walking tracks, that allows for adventure on land and water. Notable routes include the Rainforest Loop and Tamboi walk. A short track leads directly to the beach. Equipped with a garbage recycling center and pay station, it's also a responsible ecological choice. Do note, however, open fires are not permitted.
