Millicent Showground RV Camping Area is a tourist-friendly accommodation spot located in Millicent, the gateway to the Limestone Coast and Coonawarra Wine Region. It offers multiple local attractions and recreational options, with several dining and shopping facilities in the vicinity. The camping area is managed by a team of dedicated volunteers from the Show Society, offering bookings and round-the-clock site monitoring. The location offers an engaging experience of local history, art, and nature. However, note that they are fully booked for Easter 2020 due to hosting the National Geocaching Event.

The Millicent AH&P Society Showground RV Camping is the latest addition to friendly tourist accommodation in Millicent. We are the gateway to the Limestone Coast and the best route to the Coonawarra Wine Region. The site is run by volunteers from the Show Society who will fill you in on all the local attractions and things to do. Book-in is available during office hours. Please ring 0459 333 560 for reservations and after hours service. The Site is monitored after hours. There are 3 supermarkets in town, several Banks and ATM's, a great range of local shopping, a hardware shop , Hotel and restaurant dining; a number of excellent Coffee shops which offer light meals, Subway; Pizza shop, Fish & Chips. There are plenty of things to do and see (Here are a few): Millicent History Museum Ants Redgum Sculptures and Gallery Lake McIntyre Millicent Swimming Lake close to Canunda National Park There is a Dump Point at Millicent Tourist Information Centre. Come for a day, and like about half of our current guests, stay another night or two. Please Note - we are totally booked out for Easter 2020 as we are hosting the National Geocaching Event
