Mangaweka Campground

Mangaweka Campground sits beside the Rangitikei River near dramatic white cliffs, offering basic camping across three levels. The site provides drinking water, flush toilets and phone charging facilities. Registration and payment are handled at Awastone, which also operates riverside powered sites with additional amenities including laundry facilities and a seasonal licensed café. The campground operates on a first-come basis with no bookings accepted, though space is generally available. Kayaking activities can be arranged through Awastone. The location is accessed via Ruahine Road in Mangaweka, Manawatū-Whanganui.
