How to Get There

Proceed to wayoint, 32km E of Mount Isa on Barkly Highway. Turn S and proceed through gate, closing gate after you. At 6km from highway take right fork in road. Proceed a further 2km to boatramp. Note: No turning space at ramp. You will need to turn at top and reverse about 100m with a boat trailer. 2WD OK in dry weather but 4WD is preferable. While caravans could be towed with 4WD it is not advised as there are steep sections on narrow road. 4WD essential in wet. Camper trailers OK.
