About this campsite

The main road through the area is a solid graded gravel surface, however the dirt tracks to each of the designated campsites are dry weather only, narrow winding tracks with trees on either side, making this location unsuitable for caravans. Tents and campertrailers are good options. Ther are 15 designated sites which are sparsely scattered along the banks of the river, for a distance of 10km or more. For nature lovers and those who prefer remote locations, this location offers peace and tranquility close to the river and to nature. Of particular interest to wetland enthusiasts is the Nguk Indau Wetland Walking Trail, a 4.5km trail that was constructed by the students of the Glossop High School.
