Nestled 21km south of Maryborough, Foreshore Park Maaroom is a spacious, well-kept waterfront area offering delightful picnic spots and a quality boating facility. It not only boasts a four-lane boat ramp and pontoon for easy access to The Great Sandy Straits and Fraser Island, but also has two sets of children's play equipment. Fitness enthusiasts can take advantage of the full-size stand-on exercising machines, making it an ideal spot for family and individual outdoor activities within a serene natural setting.

A Four lane boat ramp and pontoon provides access to The Great Sandy Straits. Be aware that while the ramp is usable at all stages of the tide, access to the straits and Fraser Island is via a long narrow shallow channel that may not be navigable at lower tidal stages. There are 2 separate sets of children's play equipment. There is a set of full size stand on exercising machines for those who wish to have a workout.
