Discovery Resorts - Rottnest Island is a low-impact glamping resort of around 83 canvas eco-tents tucked into the dunes behind Pinky Beach, near Bathurst Lighthouse and a short walk from the main settlement and ferry jetty. Tents run from simple standard rooms to deluxe oceanside setups with ensuites, decks and daily housekeeping — several tiers include breakfast at Pinky's, the resort's beachside restaurant and bar. Rottnest — Wadjemup — is car-free: you arrive by ferry from Fremantle or Perth, then walk or cycle everywhere (the resort delivers your luggage from the jetty). It's also a Class A Reserve, so no pets anywhere on the island. The quokkas that made the island famous wander freely, the swimming and snorkelling bays start at your doorstep, and there's a guest pool for the hours between beaches.
