Curtin Springs Wayside Inn is a working cattle station and traveller's stopover 85km east of Ayers Rock Resort on the way to Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. Run by the Severin family since 1956, the property combines a cattle station with handmade paper production, guided station walks and a wayside inn offering accommodation, a campground, fuel, store and meals. There are 27 rooms ranging from budget shared-bath rooms through to family rooms with disabled bathrooms, plus a small number of powered sites and unlimited unpowered camping (free of charge). The restaurant in the original Bough Shed homestead serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with hearty homestyle outback fare.
